Near Loreto on Coronado Island lives a large and friendly family of sea lions that are waiting to meet you to reveal what makes these amazing and playful marine mammals behave, especially in the wild. Following a brief and interesting explanation, our expert guide will take you by the hand to snorkel near the alpha stone of these curious and graceful swimming creatures for a fascinating and exciting swim to experience an extraordinary encounter. 

This spectacular snorkeling  sea lion encounter is suitable for guests ages 5 and up. One of the few occasions we have to get close to these fun-loving and bouncy creatures, is also to engage our guests by learning about the different qualities and relevant aspects of these beautiful sea creatures, bringing the best of a lifetime combo of fun and interaction to our guests.

questions ABOUT this  SEA LION PROGRAM

**ANSWER.-A great adventure where you’ll be able to get up close and personal with your new flippered friend in our 


  **ANSWER.-Normally the whole your lasts around (4), Specifically the "sea lions snorkeling activity 1 hour. Usually we may extend half an hour more, it all depends on the dolphin sightings or if you want to be more on the beach. Also,  if is a private tour we may go back to Loreto´s marina  whenever you may require us to do. 


**ANSWER.-We usually offer the typical local  seaworthy fishermen's boat so called "Pangas" with a bimini top  for shade and all the basic safety equipment for you and your family or visitors.

We also have a line of higher level or scale boats for you to choose from such as Proline, Boston Whaler, Skiff and more.  


**ANSWER.- Unfortunately not if  is a "Panga" type boat.  If you acquire a different type of vessel or line, e.g. cruisers, proline, luhr etc., they usually have W.C. onboard. We always recommend to use marina´s facilities before departure. We have a WC ecological facility o Coronado's island .


**ANSWER.-Yes, it all depends on the number and size of the group as well as the food and beverages requirements. We  may adapt to your needs and provide you with a free quote under no obligation.


and where do I purchase it?

**ANSWER.-Yes, the right of the marine park "BAHIA DE LORETO" is more than paying an entrance fee, it is a donation and it is mandatory specially to preserve our best friends "the sea lions. This is to enforce and  continue preserving this beautiful place as the aquarium of the world. The cost of this fee for the moment is $100 pesos per person- aprox. $5 Usd - (over 12 years old) and you can pay it at the entrance of the marina of Loreto before embarking. 


**ANSWER.- Yes, includes a light lunch, bottled water and refreshment drinks, besides  full equipment for snorkeling . The options We also have available  a vegetarian and / or vegan menu upon request.

**ANSWER.-The captains or crew are locals.  Although in Loreto we love to work with tourism and we have a little lack of English language skills, on our tours we try to provide you with crew that have for this tour at least enough english language skills to offer you the best possible experience. Around 70 - 80 % spoken.



**ANSWER.-Yes, this is part of the local and Mexican naval regulations.

**ANSWER.-We greatly appreciate your willingness to compensate those who provide the tours. What is customary would generally be 10 to 15% of the cost of the activity or excursion either per person or for the total amount. Please note that although  knowing gratuities are  not included in the service with the purchase of the tour or excursion, the tip is an extra generosity - it is not mandatory.

**ANSWER: Public restroom facilities are currently under construction on the island Coronado. We always recommend using the restrooms before starting  our tours, and there are restrooms available at the entrance of the Loreto  marina.

**ANSWER.-Not in the islands, there is only  dazzling natural surroundings and pristine places of the best.
