What´s Coronado Discovery Island Tour ?
**ANSWER.-A great adventure aboard a local panga. Great volcanic island vistas as well enjoying dolphins swimming next to us. We will look for optional snorkeling spots in crystal clear waters. Optional basic and full meal packages are available.
How long does the Coronado Discovery Island Tour?
**ANSWER.-Normally (4) hours but usually we may extend half an hour more, it all depends on the dolphin sightings or if you want to be more on the beach. Also we may pull back when you may require us to do so if is a private tour .
What type of boat do you offer for this tour?
**ANSWER.-We usually offer the typical local fishermen's boat so called "Pangas" with a bimini top for shade and all the basic safety equipment for you and your family or visitors.
We also have a line of higher level or scale boats for you to choose from such as Proline, Boston Whaler, Skiff and more.

Does the boat have a toilet on board?
**ANSWER.- Unfortunately not if is a "Panga" type boat. If you acquire a different type of vessel or line, e.g. cruisers, proline, luhr etc., they usually have W.C. onboard.
Do you customize your tours?
**ANSWER.-Yes, it all depends on the number and size of the group as well as the food and beverages requirements. We may adapt to your needs and provide you with a free quote under no obligation.
Do I need to pay the entrance fee of the national marine park before we embarking
and where do I purchase it?
**ANSWER.-Yes, the right of the marine park "BAHIA DE LORETO" is more than paying an entrance fee, it is a donation and it is mandatory , this is to enforce and continue preserving this beautiful place as the aquarium of the world. The cost of this fee for the moment is $115 pesos per person- aprox. $8 Usd - (over 12 years old) and you can pay it at the entrance of the marina of Loreto before embarking.
Do you provide food & beverages in this tour ?
**ANSWER.- Yes, but may depend on the package you have purchased, for example, the "Full Package" includes food, drinks, equipment for snorkeling and beach on the tour. The options to choose for lunch on this package are from: Deli Sandwich, Baja style beef "machaca" burritos or fish ceviche. We also have available a vegetarian and / or vegan menu upon request.
If you purchased package is "Basic", then it only includes the tour, snorkeling gear, beach equipment and a cooler with ice and bottled water . You may bring whatever you want extra for food and beverages.
Does this tour include transportation?

Are the captains or crew bilingual ?
**ANSWER.-The captains or crew are locals. Despite this language restriction; on our tours we try to provide you with crew that have at least basic english language skills to offer you the best possible experience.
Do the vessels have lifeguards on board?
**ANSWER.-Yes, this is part of the local and Mexican naval regulations.
Our boats have all the necessary equipment for maritime safety required by law:
Life jackets
Marine Band Radio
First Aid Kit
Rescue locator distress signal system
GPS / Compass
Safety flares
Boat & passengers insurance
How much is it customary to tip the crew or captains?
**ANSWER: We greatly appreciate your willingness to compensate those who provide the tours. What is customary would generally be 10 to 15% of the cost of the activity or excursion, either per person or for the total amount. Please note that although gratuities are not included in the service with the purchase of the tour or excursion, the tip is an extra generosity - it is not mandatory.
What do you suggest to bring to the excursion to be more comfortable?
**ANSWER.-
Comfortable clothes, water shoes or sandals, swimsuit & towel
Sunglasses, hat or cap and camera (smartphone)
Sunscreen

Do you have public restroom facilities on Coronado Island?
**ANSWER.- Yes there is a public eco- restroom facility at the island Coronado. Although we always may recommend you use the restrooms before starting our tours. Restrooms are available at Loreto´s marina main entrance.
Do you have other types of rentals or services on this tour that we can rent?
**ANSWER.- Yes we may provide the following rentals upon request :
> SUP (Stan Up Paddle Board) inflatable,
> Water sports cameras,
> Photography and video.
**These are extra charged and subject to availability.

Are there places for shopping or restaurants on the island?
**ANSWER.-Not in the islands, there is only dazzling nature surroundings and pristine places of the best.
It is within the boundaries of the Loreto Bay Marine Park.
